Coin ATM Radar
Bitcoin ATMs work much like regular bank ATMs, but they allow you to buy Bitcoin. They are not available everywhere, but if you are reading this, it means there is at least one in your country. It is very important to make sure that you have at least one ATM within a reasonable distance. We also strongly recommend buying your bitcoins before requesting our service, so you can avoid possible problems later, such as the ATM being broken or unavailable. Even if Coin ATM Radar shows that the ATM is available, it is always a good idea to check it in person first, just to make sure.
1 Find an ATM
The first thing you need to do is make sure there is at least one Bitcoin ATM in your city or somewhere you can reasonably get to. Keep in mind that you will need to visit the ATM in person and pay with cash, so make sure you have enough time to get there. If this is not convenient for you, you may want to choose another option that allows you to pay online.
To find a Bitcoin ATM, go to: coinatmradar.com
Once you are on the website, enter your home address or city name in the search bar, or click on "Use my current location".
Once you complete the search, you will see the results. A list of all the ATMs available near the location you searched for will be displayed, and each result will have a "Details" button. Click on it to see all the information about the ATM, including its exact location.
If you cannot find an ATM near you or somewhere you can reasonably get to, unfortunately, you will not be able to use this method. In that case, go back and choose another way to buy Bitcoin.
If you find at least one Bitcoin ATM nearby, you can continue with the next steps.
2 Create a wallet
Before going to the ATM to buy Bitcoin, you first need to create a Bitcoin Wallet. This is where your bitcoins will be sent and stored after you make the purchase.
You can create a Bitcoin wallet in less than a minute by visiting this website: mywallet.sh
Once you are on the website, follow these simple steps:
- Under "Select a currency", make sure that Bitcoin (BTC) is selected.
- This step is optional but recommended: turn on "Save to My Wallets" so your wallet is saved and you don't lose its information.
- Click "Next Step".
- Click "Next Step" again.
- Click "Create Wallet".
That's it. Your Bitcoin wallet has now been created. You will see two important pieces of information on your screen:
- Bitcoin (BTC) Address – This is your public Bitcoin address. You will need to give this address to the ATM so it can send your bitcoins to you.
- Private Key – This is like the password to your wallet. It must be kept completely private. Anyone who has this key can access your bitcoins.
If you enabled "Save to My Wallets", your wallet will be saved under "My Wallets". You will also see options to back up your wallet by printing it or downloading it as an image or PDF.
Keep these two pieces of information safe. If you lose your wallet details, there is no way to recover them. Treat this information as something very valuable.
When creating your wallet, you will see two QR Codes for your Bitcoin address and your private key. You must print or take a screenshot of your Bitcoin address QR code. At the ATM, you will usually need to scan this QR code instead of typing the long address manually.
3 Buying bitcoin
At this point, you have found a nearby Bitcoin ATM and created your wallet. Now it's time to go to the ATM.
For security reasons, most ATMs don't allow you to enter your Bitcoin address manually because it is long and easy to mistype. That's why you need to bring your QR code with you.
Buying Bitcoin at an ATM is simple. Just follow the instructions on the screen. If the ATM offers multiple cryptocurrencies, select "Bitcoin (BTC)". Then insert your cash and scan your Bitcoin address QR code. Once the purchase is complete, the ATM will print a receipt and your bitcoins will be sent to your wallet.
To check whether your Bitcoin has arrived, you can use the balance checker below. Enter your Bitcoin address in the box and click "Check Balance".
4 Make the payment
When it is time to pay for our service, you must send us the private key of your Bitcoin wallet. This private key gives access to the Bitcoins stored inside that wallet and allows us to receive the payment.
To send us the private key, simply contact us by clicking here and tell us that your Bitcoin payment is ready in your wallet and that you want to share the private key with us.
Bitcoin wallets are anonymous and disposable. They are not connected to your personal identity and can safely be used only once. By sharing the private key with us, you only give access to the specific Bitcoins inside that one wallet. You are not giving access to anything connected to your identity, bank, or personal information. If you want to buy Bitcoin again in the future, you can simply create a new wallet using the same steps.
